This is a pro bono project for Junior Chamber International, a globally recognised NGO with general consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Lead the City 2019 by JCI Peninsula provides extracurricular training to university students in HK, to create a positive social impact and connect them with local business leaders. Partnering with Vistra HK and Habitat for Humanity HK, this project tackles some of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals in three parts. A weekend training camp for students about leadership skills, problem-solving, identifying and understanding social issues. A service day where students and members of the Vistra HK corporate volunteer team work together to renovate or clean homes for low-income households and senior citizens living alone. A closing ceremony and a dialogue meeting with established local business leaders.

A simple and adaptable logo leveraging a bold and strong typeface as the core of event identity, befitting to a vigorous and impactful project. Clean and colourful designs across EDM, social media posts, online banners, physical banners, t-shirts and ceremony backdrop, create a consistent image of youthful energy. Paired with a consistent application of purple, the brand colour for JCI Peninsula, it maintains a powerful identity in all environments and scenarios.
